Two Kinds of Fat

There are two kinds of fat in this region. There is subcutaneous fat that is below the skin and there is visceral fat. Visceral fat is fat INSIDE the abdominal cavity.

Belly Fat is Dangerous Fat

It grows around the liver and places fat deposits inside the liver, it grows around the organs inside the abdominal cavity. This includes the heart. Visceral fat grows around the heart as well. The more fat that is created in this area, the more health issues you will have.

The actual physical fat will push the lungs up and reduce the amount of oxygen you can breathe. This can be and is diagnosed by doctors as asthma. The fat will also put pressure on the stomach and push the food back up the esophagus. This is often misdiagnosed as acid reflux. The fat will also put pressure on the kidneys and thus give it incorrect signals and cause high blood pressure and hyper-tension.

Visceral fat is also a cause of insulin resistance, which leads to diabetes. Visceral fat also is what causes cardiovascular disease which leads to hart attacks.

Needless to say belly fat is no joke.

Receptor Sites

What causes belly fat as opposed to other kinds of fat? Here’s what you need to know about it.All fat is deposited based on fat receptors sites. There are receptors in different parts of your body and when they receive the signal to do so, your body will deposit fat in that area.

In your abdominal cavity are a high concentration of receptors that receive cortisol (a stress hormone). When cortisol is present in the blood and in excess the concentration of fat deposits will be in the abdominal cavity and midsection region.

So hormones determine where your fat is deposited. Stress hormones are make fat get stored in your abdominal area.

There are other hormones that cause fat to be stored in the hips and thighs.

So Here are the things to know how to lose belly fat:

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 1:

Your belly fat diet has to be free of sugar and especially all sugar substitutes. Excess sugar causes stress on the nervous system. It causes your insulin levels to spike. When they spike, they also plunge. When they plunge, they take all nutrients away from your cells and your cells actually starve. This is stressful!

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 2:

Eliminate stimulants like caffeinated drinks. Anything in your belly fat diet that causes stress to the nervous system should be avoided or reduced completely.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 3:

Sleep early go to bed no later than 10:30 pm every night and get as much deep sleep as you can. Most of your fat burning happens in your sleep. This is what I call a sleep diet. It is very profound and can cause rapid fat loss.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 4:

Remove chemicals in your environment and food that cause obesity:

Remove all MSG and monosodium glutamate from your diet. MSG is labelled in many different forms so it will pay off greatly to do some Google research to find out what different labels actually mean MSG. I have a long list of labels that actually mean MSG when translated.

Remove all high fructose corn syrup. The same tip about MSG applies to high fructose corn syrup. This high fructose corn syrup is also labelled under different names. Studies have shown that HFCS causes diabetes and obesity.

Remove the use of plastics. Studies have shown that chemicals in lots of commonly used plastics such as baby bottles and food containers release bisphenol-a (BPA). BPA also has been proven to cause obesity, diabetes and breast cancer.

Eat organic foods. If you just focus on eating organic foods you will avoid all the chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides that cause obesity, insulin resistance and diabetes. Herbicides and pesticides such as DDT have proven to cause obesity and diabetes as well as cancer.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 5:

Super hydrate. Set a goal of drinking at least a gallon of filtered water a day.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 6:

Make your belly fat diet follow the following rules. Set a goal is consuming a very high fiber diet that is raw and high in moisture. Raw food that is very dry is not going to it. Like a raw almond this is ok, but it is very low in moisture and low in fiber. Romaine lettuce, cucumber, celery, for example is so high in moisture and also so high in fiber. There is such a huge amount of these wonderful nigh, moisture, high fiber, uncooked foods there is no shortage of your options.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 7:

Exercise to lose belly fat is dependent on your adrenal health. If your adrenals are weak, or you have excess cortisol in your blood, you should resolve this first. If you do some adrenal tests and find they are weak (there are some simple tests you can do at home), then the only exercise you should do is aerobic.

Now, a lot of people do aerobic wrong. They exercise too intensely and raise their heart rate too high. If your heart rate goes too high, you will not be doing aerobic exercise. You need to determine your aerobic threshold and exercise underneath that heart rate.

This is how the elite athlete train and recover from over training. You may find that you need to walk only to stay under the aerobic threshold. Over time, you will see that your speed will pick up. You will be able to walk or run faster and still be able to stay under the threshold. This is a sign that your nervous system is recovering. When your speed plateaus and your adrenal tests show they are fine, then you go into resistance exercises.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 8:

Intense resistance exercise in short intense bursts and for short periods of time have shown in clinical studies to reduce visceral fat. The problem where for some is their fitness level and their ability to concentrate is so low intense exercise will cause them to get more fat. So they have to do the aerobic phase like I described above.

Do a weight training routing like outlined in Body For Life. It is three days a week (do not do more than 4 days a week of resistance training).Do not workout for more than 40 minutes. This is a hard fast rule.

In the in-between days, where you are not doing resistance exercise, do high intensity interval training for 20 minutes.

HOW TO LOSE BELLY FAT Rule 9:

Keep increasing the weights you lift and the speed that you sprint with your high intensity interval training and you will see your belly start to get smaller and smaller.

These are the general broad strokes of my protocol. There are a lot more details to make it more efficient and optimized to your health, body and life. These rules are very powerful if you follow it strictly. You WILL lose belly fat fast. This protocol works. I have put hundreds of people through this and the science backs it up as well.
